Consider the life of Peter. He has received the revelation that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus said. I will build my church upon this revelation. The towers of Hades will not prevail against it. Peter received this promise from Jesus. Jesus is the builder. When Jesus was being shown, Peter took a knife and cut off the ear of the one who came to arrest Jesus.
During his trial, Jesus said to Peter, “You get away from me Satan”. Peter then denied Jesus three times before the rooster crowed. However, after the resurrection, the Son of God came looking for Peter and John with a glorified body.
Our Lord is the one who always cares for us. All our tears are put into a basket. I am like a smoker. God wants you to take that wine from the smoke and pour it out, to live by pouring that wine.
